The Harrison High School All Year Reunion Committee proudly introduces the
HHS Booster Club
Membership is open to friends, family and alumni of District #2
As members, we are dedicated to community improvement and support to the students of Harrison High School.
Economic struggles have forced high school athletic departments to lean heavily on booster clubs, not just for volunteer time and school spirit, but increasingly substantial financial assistance as well, no matter the size of the school.
Your donation of $20.00 is all it takes to get started. The goal is to create alumni involvement and to raise money for the school and its students. The HHS Booster Club will highlight the school’s drama club, choir, band, sports, ROTC and more. We will be hosting Spaghetti dinners, group trips to Cripple Creek, a car show, A HHS Sock Hop, A Sierra verses Harrison Alumni Basketball game, we will have events that help to raise money throughout the school year. We invite you to join us and make this as productive and fun as possible.
Meetings will be held the second Saturday of every month at the Crowne Plaza cafe at 11:00am to 1:00pm. Hope to see you there!
As a member you are invited (but not required) to participate in these meetings.
The Harrison High School Booster Club is a sub-committee of the Harrison High School All Year Reunion Committee.

Here are a few of our goals:
1.) To offer scholarships for HHS students who would like to participate in band but can not afford to rent an instrument, to provide shoes for an athletic who would like to participate but can’t afford it and or to provide a band uniform or art supplies for those students who can not otherwise afford it.
2.) To promote HHS school spirit by offering fundraisers that extend out to the community including, sock hops, spaghetti dinners, Alumni competitions and more.
3.) To have an alumni section for members – at all school plays, games and events!
4.) To help impress on the students what they are doing is special and worthwhile? And/or that they are important and what they are doing matters?
Help students raise money for class trips, instruments, uniforms and more!
Our first project:
We are collecting used instruments to donate to the HHS Band Department!!!

Do you have a used musical instrument that is lying around the house or in storage? The Harrison High School Alumni committee would like to take up a donation of these instruments and give them to the band department at HHS!
Did you know that some students have never learned to play an instrument simply because they couldn’t afford to rent or purchase one…..
Our goal is to encourage HHS students to pursue their musical talents and we don’t want the lack of an instrument to be a factor. The instruments collected would become HHS property and the school could loan the instruments out to students while they are enrolled in a band class.
This is a worthwhile project and you can either stop by one of the monthly booster club meetings and drop off your gently worn instrument. The meetings are held the second Saturday of each month in the café at the Crowne Plaza. Meetings start at 11:00am. and everyone is welcome. Or you can email Connie King and arrange for someone to pick up the instrument.
