Dear Alumni,

 

            Thank you for giving me a chance to explain why we need your help. As a representative of the Senior Class I can honestly say that we all have many dreams of making this year, our final year, the best year possible. Unfortunately, we don’t have the funds to do this.

 

             For four years, most of us have never gone on a field trip. We haven’t gotten the chance to just have fun for a day. I believe that the seniors have worked hard to get this far and they have earned a field trip as a final good bye to high school. Another thing that I think is important is a Senior Night. This would be a night for the seniors to gather and say good bye to their friends. It would be a night just to have fun and allow the seniors to reminisce on the past four years. I think that these two events are vital to the seniors having a sort of closure to this chapter of their live in order to go on to the next one.

 

          The Senior Student Government has been trying our best to raise money, but we still feel that our efforts won’t be enough. We are determined to make sure that seniors have the greatest year. So far, this hasn’t been possible. We have been so occupied with making sure that we have a plan for after high school, and getting college and scholarship applications done, and homework, and helping the Juniors raise money for prom, that we haven’t had a chance to relax and have fun. I am asking that you consider helping us to make this year spectacular.
